This hand rolled blog is an combo travel/birding blog from the beautiful Kashmir Valley which is famous for its breathtaking mountain scenery, clear lakes, lush vegetation and magnificent forests.
The valley is home to a rich biodiversity including a large number of birds species, many of which are unique to Kashmir. More than 550 species of birds have been reported from the State of Jammu & Kashmir.
Each trip report tries to give the reader a feel of the destination along with a list of the birds I have personally observed in the vicinity. Regular visitors may notice that the focus has shifted from individual trip reports to more a comprehensive detailing of each destination.
