New Delhi
New Delhi has the distinction of being home to the second-largest number of birds in any capital city in the world after the African city of Nairobi. Delhi's historic monuments, tree-lined avenues and the forests of the Ridge are rich in avian life. In winter, migratory birds are a common sight in and around the Delhi Zoo.
These birds were photographed in and around the Delhi Zoo and various monuments of New Delhi in January.
